Московская Велоночь 2010: Как это было - This is how it was!

Сегодня на рассвете в Измайловском парке столицы завершилась Четвертая Московская Велоночь. Около тысячи человек из разных концов Москвы, России и мира на протяжении 5 часов путешествовали по историческим и архитектурным достопримечательностям Измайлова, Калошина, Метрогородка, Гольянова, Черницына и снова Измайлова.
Грандиозные хозяйственные замыслы Алексея Михайловича и водные увлечения его сына Петра Алексеевича, педагогические приемы Якова Самойловича и Евдокии Львовны, неоконченный монументализм Николая Колли и поздние работы Бориса Иофана, олимпийский модернизм Гунста и Гохаря, уют и манера в «немецкой» застройке Измайлова 1940-50-х годов и краткая история Черкизовского рынка — вот лишь немногие из тех тем, о которых мы говорили в эту ночь. Moscow Velonight 2010 – This is how it was
Early at dawn, the green groves of the Izmaylovsky park welcomed the finishing
line of the 4th edition of the Moscow Architectural Velonight. About two thousand
people from different parts of Moscow, Russia and the world have been travelling
through past and present of the Moscow North-Eastern periphery.
The route of the Velonight 2010 was dedicated to the sociourbanistic evolution
of the tsar's villa Izmailovo, villages Kaloshino, Golyanovo & Chernitsyno. We've
also visited a recent Metrogorodok, founded after WWII to house Moscow
subway workers. Enormous tubes of the Electric Plant №23, one of the most
imposing in the city, dominated the Metrogorodok landscape.
The 2010 Moscow Velonight featured contributions by seven experts from
different fields. They've been talking about (and showing the sights of) several
ambitious economic hobbies of tsar Aleksey Mikhailovich and his son Peter the
Great, an unfinished Stalin stadium (1930s), that was planned to become the
largest in the world. Other places of interest included the late works by Boris
Iofan, 1970's "estetizzante" modernism by Gunst and Gokhar, last remains of the so-called "German" houses in Izmailovo, built by German prisoners of war in the 1940-50’s. The tour also included a brief history of the 200 hectares of the big, wild and infamous Cherkizovsky market that was closed down in 2009.

Добро пожаловать на сайт 4 Московской Велоночи Москультпрога, которая пройдет в субботу 3 июля 2010 года. Маршрут посвящен северо-восточным районам столицы, находящимся между Измайловским парком и национальным парком "Лосиный остров".
Среди тем - Дедушка русского флота и архитектура царя Алексея Михайловича, первая московская физмат школа №444, ее учителя и выпускники, зоопарк и рок-н-ролл. Концепция и маршрут разработан историком Сергеем Никитиным. Прямая трансляция мероприятия - "Кекс ФМ" (FM 89,9 Мгц).
Встреча рассвета на лужайке Конно-Спортивного Комплекса "Измайлово", где можно будет приобрести кофе, чай и что-нибудь на завтрак.
Средняя скорость - 6 км/ч
Дистанция около 22 км
Время и место: Москва, 3 июля 2010.
Участие в 4-й Московской велоночи бесплатно. Количество участников ограничено. Регистрация открыта здесь.
Для участия вам понадобится FM-радио с наушниками. Для безопасности вашего участия в Велоночи, мы требуем взять с собой следующие вещи:
- запасную шину,
- велосипедный насос
- шлем
- фонарик - на лоб или на руль.
Просим Вас соблюдать правила дорожного движения.
Алкоголь запрещен.

Created and produced by Sergey NIKITIN, PhD, professor of history of arts and founder of MosKultProg, Russia’s leading urban history seminar.
And more: picnic and music on a picturesque lakeside – please bring with you tea, cheese, sweets or something else (homemade de preference). Alcohol is forbidden.
For the first time, the Moscow Velonight - Velonoch - Velonotte is coming in two languages - Russian and English.
Distance: circa 22 km
Keywords: Moscow urban development in 1700-2000, architecture, the birth of the Russian fleet, Tsarina Sophia and Peter the Great, zoo, underground Soviet rock'n'roll music.
Start: Moscow, July 3, 2010. The exact place and time will be communicated to registered members before the event.
Free-of-charge. Number of partecipants is limited, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
Please bring with you FM-radio with headphones. We will speak to you on the radio.

Apart of bike and FM, we kindly ask you to bring with you these OBLIGATORY things:
