Сегодня на рассвете в Измайловском парке столицы завершилась Четвертая Московская Велоночь. Около тысячи человек из разных концов Москвы, России и мира на протяжении 5 часов путешествовали по историческим и архитектурным достопримечательностям Измайлова, Калошина, Метрогородка, Гольянова, Черницына и снова Измайлова.
Грандиозные хозяйственные замыслы Алексея Михайловича и водные увлечения его сына Петра Алексеевича, педагогические приемы Якова Самойловича и Евдокии Львовны, неоконченный монументализм Николая Колли и поздние работы Бориса Иофана, олимпийский модернизм Гунста и Гохаря, уют и манера в «немецкой» застройке Измайлова 1940-50-х годов и краткая история Черкизовского рынка — вот лишь немногие из тех тем, о которых мы говорили в эту ночь. Moscow Velonight 2010 – This is how it was
Early at dawn, the green groves of the Izmaylovsky park welcomed the finishing
line of the 4th edition of the Moscow Architectural Velonight. About two thousand
people from different parts of Moscow, Russia and the world have been travelling
through past and present of the Moscow North-Eastern periphery.
The route of the Velonight 2010 was dedicated to the sociourbanistic evolution
of the tsar's villa Izmailovo, villages Kaloshino, Golyanovo & Chernitsyno. We've
also visited a recent Metrogorodok, founded after WWII to house Moscow
subway workers. Enormous tubes of the Electric Plant №23, one of the most
imposing in the city, dominated the Metrogorodok landscape.
The 2010 Moscow Velonight featured contributions by seven experts from
different fields. They've been talking about (and showing the sights of) several
ambitious economic hobbies of tsar Aleksey Mikhailovich and his son Peter the
Great, an unfinished Stalin stadium (1930s), that was planned to become the
largest in the world. Other places of interest included the late works by Boris
Iofan, 1970's "estetizzante" modernism by Gunst and Gokhar, last remains of the so-called "German" houses in Izmailovo, built by German prisoners of war in the 1940-50’s. The tour also included a brief history of the 200 hectares of the big, wild and infamous Cherkizovsky market that was closed down in 2009.
